Grand Street Settlement will serve as a social service partner at Williamsburg Houses.
Founded on pillars to empower, support, and advocate for New Yorkers, Grand Street Settlement understands that working together to create communities that are as inclusive as they are diverse is pivotal to increasing the quality of life for the residents they serve.
Through this partnership, The RDC team and Grand Street Settlement will work together to provide enhanced services and programming for Williamsburg Houses residents.
Programs
Williamsburg Houses Community Center: 195 Graham Avenue, Brooklyn, New York
After School: Monday to Friday; 2pm to 6pm for students in grades K-5. Enrollment for Cohort C still available.
Holiday programming: We are open for 13 holiday programs for after school participants from 8am to 6pm
Evening programming: Monday to Friday; 6pm to 10pm
Weight Room: Monday to Thursday; 6pm to 8pm
Open Gym: Monday & Thursday; 6-7pm & 9-10pm
5 Boros Basketball: Middle & high school basketball training. Tuesday & Wednesdays; Grade 8: 6-8pm, Grades 9-12: 8-10pm
Hoop York City: Women’s Basketball Program Adults: Monday & Thursday 7pm to 9pm
Break Dance: Friday; 6pm to 9pm (Grade 6 to Adults)
Soccer: Friday; Grades K-8 from 6-8pm, Grades 9-12 from 8-10pm
Saturday Programming: Roundball Basketball Tournaments Middle School: 1pm to 5pm
Saturday Night Lights Program: Grades 6-8 from 5-7pm, Grades 9-12 from 7-9pm
Early Voting: Williamsburg Community Center starting October 29th to November 6th
Election Day: Voting on November 8th
