Our Mission

RDC Development is a professional partnership between MDG Design + Construction and Wavecrest Management. Together, RDC provides residents with a trusted, reliable, and compassionate team to develop and maintain high-quality affordable housing and provide related programming and resources that further stabilize families. MDG and Wavecrest understand the key to effective affordable housing is more than the physical construction, but lays in the continued support and infrastructure that allows low-income residents to thrive. This includes timely responses to building issues, security, liaising with tenants associations, partnerships with social service providers to offer educational programs, events, and the holistic nurturing of community.

Our Methods

A main differentiating factor of RDC is that work carefully with residents to minimize the inconvenience of construction work being done. Due to the extensive repairs being done at Williamsburg Houses, residents will need to be relocated from their apartments into other apartments within the Williamsburg Houses development. RDC is committed to working closely with residents to minimize the inconvenience that comes with having to temporarily move for construction by offering assistance with packing, moving, and other services at no cost to the residents. We will present more information as we finalize the scope and hear feedback from the residents of Williamsburg Houses.
